05 August 2020

Pinige, who is passionate about teamwork, loves his job at Invacare as he says that for society to be complete is needs people with differences, including those with a disability. “It is our responsibility to develop devices that help everyone to live an equal and accessible life, and this is what we do at Invacare.”

Responsibilities in Pinige’s role include all things related to quality. Pinige says “every quality issue from our suppliers is my issue to resolve. I have a duty to ensure that our manufacturing process results in high-quality products that meet all the necessary criteria and do what they are meant to.”

Pinige, who is Thai and grew up in Bangkok, graduated from his Electrical Engineering degree and has worked in quality control roles for over 17 years. Pinige has brought a great deal of experience to his position at Invacare, although he says that he still learns new things all the time which helps keep his role engaging. Pinige says, “my experience has been gained from my studies, my roles in the quality industry, but mostly it’s from real situations. This helps me to make decisions based on genuine experiences of Invacare clients and dealers.”

Pinige says that he enjoys working at Invacare because of the freedom in his role to make decisions and even to get creative. “With my team’s support, I manage my workload successfully and enjoy the camaraderie that comes with it. My role is all about quality, but quality cannot be created without the collaboration of many parts of the business and definitely not without genuine teamwork.”

When not at work Pinige enjoys listening to podcasts and reading books. His favourites include Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Thailand and World Travelling Guild, and Advancement in Automotive and Engineering Innovation. Another of his chosen pastimes is travelling around Thailand, “to discover new experiences, meet new people and learn new things.”
