Meet Nutthaya Taeng-on (aka Nutty), Invacare’s Customer Service Representative in Thailand

09 October 2020

Nutthaya Taeng-on (aka Nutty) is our Customer Service Representative in Thailand, and she loves the flexibility her role offers and dealing with so many different people from around the world.

“My responsibilities involve both export and domestic, and they provide me with many opportunities to connect with people, which I love. My role also includes a great deal of cultural diversity and I enjoy learning about different cultures and relish supporting these people in meeting their goals.”

Nutty feels that the biggest challenge in her role is growing the business and supporting a new team. “Thailand is a young team and we still have many aspects of the business to mould. But I am glad to be a part of a new team as supporting business growth is one of my areas of interest. My personal strength is in building customer relationships - I also want to never stop learning. Luckily, my role at Invacare means that I always have something new to learn that can then be adapted to my role, and I am presented with plenty of opportunities to improve myself.”

Nutty’s previous roles were in the export industry and logistics, providing her with useful expertise that she has brought to her current role at Invacare. “Actually, I graduated in Business and IT and completed an internship in an IT department. However, I soon realised that I love to connect with diverse people, so decided to go to Canada and the UK in order to study what I love, and to experience different cultures. That is the reason that I took the step into the export industry and being a customer service representative.”

Nutty says her driving forces include “passion, a positive attitude and diligence”, and her favourite quote exemplifies this: What you Believe, you Receive. Her personal interests include psychology and philosophy with favourite books including The Secret, and 51 Weapons of the Wise, both having self-development and motivational themes. Nutty’s favourite hobby is cooking and food blogging on Instagram, where she shares cooking tutorials and posts her favourite dishes.
