A man came up to me and said he could see his sons face change as he watched it and the excitement it brought him. The son had no idea what he could accomplish in a wheelchair because he had just got sick of people feeling sorry for him and telling him everything would be okay when for him, it wouldn't! He has only been in a chair 6 months and was very depressed and this video gave him something to strive for.

Oh last thing......you are put in your place when you are talking to a father about work and he to you, the stresses, the challenges and the hours, then his 16 year old sons says....."Bloody hell, you guys have legs, stop complaining". Yep, no answer for that!

I jokingly told him I was a National Champion and he should respect me and he barked back "Of what? Pensioner AFL" lol. Great news is our little banter has encouraged him to come and try Wheelchair Footy. An hour later his dad sent me a text saying "you have no idea what you did for my son tonight....thank you!" It reminded me why I joined this company......to make a difference!
