Meet Simone Burke, the new Invacare Queensland Territory Manager and Key Account Manager. Simone is a Physiotherapist and brings a wealth of clinical knowledge to the Invacare team. 

"Clinical and personal experience has made me passionate about the importance of quality, user-friendly, patient-centred medical equipment." 

Through her clinical work, Simone found that assistive technology can often burden the patient and those who help them. This technology can be uncomfortable, difficult to use, impractical, unreliable, and simply stressful. Wanting to improve these experiences for clients is at the core of what drives Simone. "I have experienced these challenges day in and day out working as a physiotherapist, using many different products firsthand."

At Invacare, Simone's role is to support and manage Invacare QLD accounts. "We have some fantastic dealers here in QLD, and I will be working with them to support their businesses and assist with their growth. I'm here to help implement new products, provide appropriate product training, and offer consistent and responsive support should they require it."

Invacare's purpose, to "make life's experiences possible", is at the core of Simone's decision to take up her new role. "Invacare focuses on providing quality, user-friendly, patient-centred products. They want to empower and liberate the end-users."

Simone qualified as a physiotherapist to help people and sees her move to Invacare as a natural extension of that goal. "It is gratifying to know that my efforts help provide the very best for the end-user."

Simone spends her time off work hiking, swimming in the ocean, playing sports and spending time with loved ones.
